Summary
Chapter 9 starts off with a party thrown for the adventurers because they protected the town. Ibis thanks Kinato for his role in protecting the town and also Elsie. Lamia, a member of the Seraph Wings guild arrests Maria and Cid due to their role in the illegal business. During the a conversation with Lamia, Kinato reveals that he cannot use magic to heal his own body, and she responds that Kinato must not remain colorless forever, because it'll only be a disadvantage for the Iron Fangs, and he is better than being colorless. At the Kisalani City Plaza, Ibis gathers everyone and starts doing a fireworks show with the help of the adventurers magic. Ibis apologies to the townspeople for messing up but says she will continue making magical gadgets, and the townspeople respond by supporting her. The chapter concludes with Zeo saying that he wants to rival Kinato one day.
